Educational Background: Bachelors degree from Florida International University. Studied under: Gary Campbell (FIU), Gary Keller (UM), Ed Calle (Sony Latin Jazz), Whit Sidener (UM), Gary Lindsey (UM), Althea Kaplan, Mike Gold and Lisa La Cross.

Experience: Leads own Acid Timba Jazz group "For If The Flies", in the Miami - Ft. Lauderdale Area. Has toured or recorded with the following National and International Acts: David Lee Roth, KC and the Sunshine Band, Tito Puente, Nestor Torres, Celia Cruz, Willy Chirino, The Four Freshmen, The Manhattan Transfer, Hansel y Raul and Roberto Torres.

Awards: 1994 Outstanding Soloist in the Mobile (Alabama) Jazz Festival. 1996 Downbeat Magazine Winner for Best College Group. MDCC Composition Competition - Second Place.
