Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition with Piano Performance Honors from Syracuse University

Experience: Martha has been teaching music since 1998 and is currently a member of the American College of Musicians and the Music Teachers National Association. In 1996, she graduated /summa cum laud/ from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition with Piano Performance Honors. She has participated in various orchestras and groups such as the Dekalb Symphony, Orchestra Atlanta, Syracuse University Orchestra, and the Syracuse Oratorio Society. Martha has played the piano since 1981, the violin since 1986, and composed since 1983. Besides these three venues, Martha also sings, conducts, plays the guitar, and arranges music. She served as Music Director, Pianist, and Choir Director at The Rock Presbyterian Church in Stockbridge, GA from 1998-2003, and has also participated in the music at other churches and religious gatherings around the country, such as New Hampshire, New York, Tennessee, and Georgia.
