Educational Background: BM in Music Education from West Virginia University and an MM in Improvisation and Jazz Studies from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE), and is certified to teach in Michigan.

Experience: Neil's diverse contributions and commitment to music education at various levels has kept him in constant demand as an educator over the last fifteen years. His students range in age from six through adult and study a wide range of music from classical to jazz as well as theory and composition.
